Improving the quality of life of the person.
The goals of our treatment programs vary depending on the needs of you, or your child and family. We evaluate for, and treat, a variety of psychological disorders with the goal of improving the quality of life of the person. We work to individualize treatment plans for those with psychological and developmental disabilities.
In addition to accepting all major insurance companies, we are a provider for the Autism Scholarship Program (ASP) through the Ohio Department of Education, and also the Franklin County Board of Developmental Disabilities (FCBDD). We can develop and implement IEP’s for those seeking an alternative to public education. We have on staff Certified Intervention Specialists who specialize in teaching students with mild to profound disabilities including cognitive and learning disabilities, emotional and behavioral disorders, and autism.
Dr. Bline uses animal assisted therapy programs that are especially well-suited for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders. Research has demonstrated that animal assisted therapy can often provide a way to reach these individuals that traditional therapies do not. For some with autism, the animal may provide a window of relating which can be translated into their other relationships.
